FitzAlan Limited Lifetime Warranty for the United States & Canada
A FitzAlan reel is built to be fished for a lifetime.
FitzAlan warrants the frame, spool, and primary structural components of every reel against manufacturer's defects for the lifetime of the original purchaser. The drag assembly, bearings, springs, pawls, and sealing components carry a 24-month warranty against manufacturer's defects from the date of original purchase.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including drag washer wear, drag performance degradation over time, drag failure under heavy load on aged drag systems, anodized finish wear, line burns, audible click wear, bearing wear from accumulated use, cosmetic dings or scratches, or any damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, alterations, or unauthorized repair.
This warranty applies only to FitzAlan reels purchased from FitzAlan directly or from an authorized FitzAlan dealer, and is valid for the original purchaser only. Return shipping instructions will be provided after submitting a warranty claim.
Proof of Purchase
Proof of purchase must be included with any warranty claim. Acceptable proof includes your invoice from fitzalan.com or your receipt from an authorized FitzAlan dealer.
Unauthorized Dealer Alert
FitzAlan reels are sold through FitzAlan directly and through a network of authorized fly fishing retailers. A list of authorized FitzAlan dealers is available at fitzalan.com/dealers.
If you order FitzAlan online, purchase through fitzalan.com or through a website listed as an authorized FitzAlan dealer. FitzAlan takes care to ensure that authorized dealers offer the products and service the brand stands for. Unauthorized sites may sell counterfeit or grey-market product, and FitzAlan cannot guarantee the quality those channels provide. FitzAlan reels purchased from unauthorized sellers are not eligible for warranty service.
